Srinagar May, 17 (KNS): Srinagar Police on Tuesday arrested three gamblers in Rawatpora Baghat area of Srinagar and recovered stake money from their possession.
As per the statement issued to Kashmir News Service (KNS), acting on a specific information Police Station Sadder raided a gambling site at Rawatpora Baghat and apprehended three gamblers identified as Nazir Ahmad Parray of Rawatpora, Hakeem Mushtaq Ahmad of Natiporr and Manzoor Ahmad Chat Shah Faisal colony soura and recovered stake money of s 53000and plying cards from them.
In this regard Case FIR. NO 50/22 U/S 13 gambling act stands registered in Police Station Sadder, statement reads.
This is continuation to efforts of Srinagar Police so to curb the social crimes and immoral activities, it added.(KNS)
