Srinagar Police Establishes Digital library at Rambagh School

Srinagar, 06 May (KNS) : The District Police Srinagar has initiated a campaign under civic action program 2021,established a “DIGITAL LIBRARY” at Deaf & Dumb School Rambagh Srinagar on Thursday. 

On the occasion, SP City South Srinagar expressed that COVID-19 pandemic has led to disruptions in normal life, including closure of schools and libraries which have caused loss of learning activities. 

To mitigate the impact of the Pandemic, schools will have to remodel the way of using its library and class room teaching. There is a need to introduce a suitable method to its students for delivering quality education through a digital library mechanism. 

It allows flexible and personalized learning at the speed of the learner and one can continuously augment and expand content through digital means.  

The institution can share library and text books to the student without using physical contact and search of books on the racks of school library and can get all information regarding the current affairs of the world.

Besides, can read all kinds of books at their respective dwellings.The electronic items including laptops etc.which are required for establishment of Digital Library were handed over to Principal Deaf & Dumb school Rambagh Srinagar in the presence of Shahjahan Choudhary-JKPS (SDPO Shaheed Gunj Srinagar) and the staff members of the Deaf and dumb school.(KNS)
