Srinagar April 05:(KNS) Srinagar police continuing its efforts to eradicate the drug menace from society has seized huge quantity of contraband. Acting on a tip-off, on 13/03/2022 at about 08:30 Pm, Police Party from Police Station Parimpora led by SHO Parimpora under supervision of SDPO west raided house of one Ghulam Mohiuddin Ganaie
S/O Mohd.Ibrahim R/O Gund Hassi Bhat. After thorough searching of each & every corner of the house, 236 bottles of Corex (100ml each )recovered from the house premises buried inside sand.
In this regard, Case FIR no 66/2022 u/s 08/22 NDPS was registered at police station Parimpora & investigation taken up.
As the accused person was at large however on 01-04-2022 upon a specific information the said accused person was apprehended at Toyota crossing and 19 more bottles of codeine phosphate and 12 strips of Spasmo proxycon each containing 24 capsules were recovered from his possession. The investigation of the case is going on. (KNS)
