Furthermore, Commissioner praised the efforts of the SMC and Srinagar Smart City Limited (SSCL) teams for their tremendous work in beautification and sanitation, acknowledging their role in transforming Srinagar into a cleaner, greener, and more aesthetically vibrant city.

As a mark of solidarity, all cultural programmes scheduled for the occasion were cancelled in view of the national disaster that occurred on 14 August 2025 in Kishtwar District.

The celebrations concluded on a note of optimism, with a collective resolve to work towards a harmonious, prosperous future for the people of Srinagar and the nation.(KNS)
