Ganderbal, Dec 13 (KNS): Expressing satisfaction over the recent selection of Special Police Officials (SPOs) in Ganderbal, Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) Genderbal district unit has expressed satisfaction over the whole process of this selection in the district.
According to a statement issued to KNS, while addressing party workers of district on Tuesday, senior leader of PDP and District President Ganderbal Bashir Ahmad Mir said that selection of SPOs had no criteria at all previously.
“It is for the first time that PDP lead Government has made this recruitment process most transparent wherein not only police administration was involved but the local civil administration lead by Deputy Commissioners of respective districts were also made part of the selection process of SPOs” said Bashir Ahmad Mir.
Party workers congratulated Chief Minister Mehbooba Mufti for this transparent recruitment process and hoped that other recruitment processes would also be streamlined and made in most transparent and efficient manner.Click Here To Follow Our WhatsApp Channel
The workers appealed Chief Minister to strengthen the institutions of transparency like State Accountability Commission (SAC), State Vigilance Commission (SVC) and State Information Commission (SIC).
PDP district unit has congratulated Deputy Commissioner and SSP Ganderbal for their best efforts in making the selection process foolproof.
“Previous Government had always made selection of SPOs through backdoor channels and the recent process evolved by Government lead by Mehbooba Mufti clearly indicates that PDP is sincere towards eradicating corruption from J&K” said Zahoora Ahmad Rather Vice District President PDP Ganderbal while addressing party workers.
