Srinagar, Mar 31 (KNS): A special Police Officer (SPO) was Saturday injured he was after attacked by suspected militants in Khanbal area of South Kashmir's Anatnang district, officials said.
The cop identified as Turaj Singh was attacked by suspected militants while he was performing his duties at Khanbal area. Sources said that he was rushed to District Hospital Anantnag for the treatment.

Medical superintendent District Hospital Anantnag, Dr Majid Mirab told Kashmir News Service (KNS) that a cop who had sustained bullet injury today at Khanbal was rushed to the hospital.
He informed that the cop was shifted to police hospital from DH Anantnag on the advise of police officials.
Meanwhile, the manhunt has been launched to nab the attackers. (KNS)
