SpiceJet Flight Declares Mid-Air Emergency, Lands Safely in Srinagar

Srinagar, Aug 29 (KNS): A SpiceJet flight operating as SG 385 from Delhi to Srinagar declared an emergency on Friday afternoon following a pressurization problem onboard.

The aircraft, carrying 201 passengers, four infants, and seven crew members, made a priority landing at Srinagar Airport at 3:27 PM.

Reports reaching to Kashmir News Service (KNS) said that the crew reported a technical issue related to cabin pressurization, prompting precautionary measures.Click Here To Follow Our WhatsApp ChannelAirport emergency teams were placed on standby, but no injuries were reported and no medical assistance was sought by passengers or crew.

Authorities have confirmed to KNS, that the aircraft is undergoing technical inspection. Flight operations at Srinagar Airport remained normal.
