Jammu, Feb 3(KNS): The Speaker of the Jammu and Kashmir Assembly on Tuesday rejected amendments moved by Peoples Conference chairman Sajad Lone seeking discussion on the abrogation of Article 370 and Article 35A, restoration of statehood, rationalisation of reservation, and revival of intra-district and intra-divisional recruitment.
Lone questioned the Speaker’s decision, expressing concern over the refusal to allow debate on what he termed core political and administrative issues affecting the Union Territory.

The proceedings witnessed brief exchanges following the ruling, after which the House moved on to listed business.(KNS).
