Handwara July 19:(KNS) Superintendent of Police North Kashmir's Handwara police district Dr Sandeep Gupta on Monday extended his warm Eid ul Adha greetings to the people of Handwara. 

According to Kashmir News service (KNS), Sandeep Gupta also lauded the efforts people of Handwara against covid19. 

He said that the people followed the appropriate behavior against covid19 and extended full support in vaccination. 

The low positivity rate in the Handwara is due to efforts of people, I appreciate the friendly cooperation of people in fighting covid19, he said. 

In a video message, Sandeep also said that, the covid19 is still around, since Eid ul Adha, is heading, the people shouldn't take lexusicty, but to follow the covid apporatee behavior. 

Once you move out for shopping or other, change your clothes, wash your hands, it's safety for the kids and elderly people living in your homes, he said. 

He also said that, offer Eid prayers at your local mosques, with social distancing. 

Sandeep also stressed over Imams and Sarpanchs, to create an awareness among people about covid and let this gathering do not help covid to spread further, he added. 

Vaccine should be priority measure to fight the covid19. Do not fall to rumours, everyone eligible should take vaccination.(KNS).
