Srinagar, Mar 29 (KNS): Former union minister and senior Congress leader, Prof. Saifuddin Soz has lauded the Hurriyat leadership for condemning the barbaric attack in Lahore in which 35 people were killed and over 300 injured.
Soz said that Hurriyat leadership’s strong statement is very timely and it will constitute a shot in the arm of Nawaz Sharief, Prime Minister of Pakistan, who has reiterated his resolve to finish terrorism on the soil of Pakistan.
“It is heartening situation that the Hurriyat leadership, in one voice, strongly condemned the barbaric terrorist act, in which 72 precious innocent lives were lost, besides, injuring more than 150 persons, in Lahore (Pakistan), other day,” Soz said in a statement to KNS.

“I feel that the Hurriyat leadership’s strong statement is very timely and it will constitute a shot in the arm of Nawaz Sharief, Prime Minister of Pakistan, who has reiterated his resolve to finish terrorism on the soil of Pakistan. This will also facilitate and promote very cordial relationship between India and Pakistan and both the countries will fight against terrorism together.”
“I have a feeling in my heart and mind that the ISIS, the Taliban, the Alqaida and other terrorist organizations have done great harm to the concept of Islam, which stands for peace, harmony and solidarity of mankind,” he said. (KNS)
