Srinagar, Aug 26 (KNS): Support in favor of renowned pediatrician of Sopore Sub District hospital keeps growing after some media reports alleged negligence by an on-duty doctor.
People staged a ‘support rally’ on Saturday in favour of the senior pediatrician, Dr Suhail Naik. The rally was taken out in the premises of Sub-district Hospital Sopore.
Public and the patients who came from adjacent areas of north Kashmir staged demonstration outside SDH Sopore demanding “justice” for the pediatrician doctor.
“I have been getting treatment of my son by Dr Suhail and I believe he is the best paediatrician in the town, said a parent waiting outside Dr Naik’s room in SDH Sopore.Click Here To Follow Our WhatsApp Channel
The supporters said if the pediatrician is transferred their protest would continue and they won’t let administration repeat what they have done (transferred good doctors) in past.
“This doctor (Dr Suhail Naik) is a very humble human being besides being a caring doctor. He treats every kid (patient) like his own”, said another parent from Kupwara. (KNS)
