Say duo were planning to attack civilians in Sopore

Sopore, Aug 31 (KNS) : The two Jaish e Mohammad militants who were killed in North Kashmir's Sopore encounter have been identified, says Additional Director General of Police (ADGP).

As per the news agency - Kashmir News Service (KNS), Kashmir police zone in a tweet quoting ADGP said, that the duo were identified as Mohammad Rafi of Sopore and Kaiser Ashraf of Pulwama. Adding that Rafi was earlier booked under the Public Safety Act (PSA) twice.

He said, that both the militants were categorized and were planning to attack civilians in Sopore area.

Notably, two militants affiliated with the Jaish e Mohammad militant organization were killed in an encounter that broke out at Bomai area of Sopore in North Kashmir on Wednesday evening. KNS
