Jammu, Jan 18 (KNS): National Conference MLA Mohammad Akbar Lone here on Wednesday said that Social Welfare Minister Sajad Gani Lone has got the port folio to implement the vision of his late father Khawaja Abdul Gani Lone who head the intent to work for the upliftment of the weaker sections of the society.
According to KNS Correspondent, speaking on the motion of grants moved by Social Welfare Minister Sajad Gani Lone the NC MLA Mohammad Akbar Lone sought to remove the bottlenecks in the process of issuing disability certificates to disabled persons which according to him will be a great tribute to late Khawaja Abdul Gani Lone.Click Here To Follow Our WhatsApp Channel
Pointing towards Sajad Gani Lone the NC MLA called upon the Social Welfare Minister to simplify the process for issuing disability certificates and abolish the committee system presently in Police.
He also sought massive reforms in the implementation of ICDS Scheme to ensure that only deserving are benefited by the scheme and the scope for political exploitation in the implementation of the scheme. (KNS)
