Srinagar, Jul 11 (KNS): The social activists of Kashmir Tuesday staged protest against the killing of seven Amarnath pilgrims who were killed in an attack in South Kashmir’s Anantnag district on Monday evening.
The social activist headed by Irfan Hafeez Lone assembled at Srinagar’s Press Enclave and chanted slogans against the Anantnag attack.
The protesters condemned the attack and expressed condolence with the bereaved families. “Our pain and condemnation is beyond the words. No one condone such inhumanely act,” Lone said.Click Here To Follow Our WhatsApp Channel
He said that “the yellow belly and monsters who committed this heinous act deserves strong condemnation, history is witness to the fact that people always stood with the pilgrims and left no stone unturned to help them in all possible ways.”
Lone further said that today’s sit-in is aimed to register their pain and condemnation. “We humbly urge all stakeholders to call for shutdown to register our pain and condemnation,” he said. (KNS)
