Srinagar 30 january (KNS): Srinagar Municipal Corporation with the help of its enforcement wing  today sealed one  commercial structure at Palpora.

As per the statement issued to KNS, The commercial structure  had come up in violation of  Municipal  rules therefore a team led by Chief Enforcement officer went to the site and sealed the said structure.

The sealed structure  has been put under the superdari of concerned  station house officer and Ward Officer.

Meanwhile continuing with its  demolition drive , SMC today  also demolished illegal structures one  at Malbagh and another at Alijan road.

The Enforcement wing  also stopped  work  of all those structures at a very initial stage which had deviations in sanctioned building permissions during the drive.

The practice of  acting on a number of illegal constructions including public complaints made against violators in the city will continue.

It  is time and again being monitored  by the Authority whether Building permissions are regularly  being checked at constructional sites and  the structures are coming up  plan as per the permission.(KNS)
