Srinagar July 05:(KNS) Srinagar Muncipal Corporation on Monday demolished atleast four illegal strucutres in Lawayapora Mujgund area of Srinagar capital city.
The operation was carried out by SMC Enforcement wing in the afternoon.
Out of four illegal constructions, two were pulled down at the initial level and two structures that had come up beyond the initial level illegally were too demolished.
The demolitions had taken place in Mujgund and lawaypora area.
An action in this regard has also been initiated against the concerned official for deriliction of duties with regard to building activities to check on unauthorised/illegal constructions.(KNS)
