Srinagar, October 26 (KNS): Jammu Kashmir Salvation Movement on Monday slammed Mufti led government for denying travel documents to its party Chairman Zaffer Akbar Bhat who was invited to 'Kashmir Million March'.
In a statement issued to KNS, Party Spokesman said that Former AJK Prisedent Barister Sultan Mehmood Choudry invited JK Salvation Movement Chairman Zaffer Akbar for his participation in “Million March to be conducted in New York (NY) on 25th of this month in front of United Nation Office.
Spokesman said that senior resistance leader Zaffer Akbar Bhat accepted the invitation and desired to attend the million march but the puppet government led by PDP denied travel documents to the leader.
"We applied formally for the passport but so far as the passport authorities and government has not given required documents to Zaffer Shab which shows the frustration of the government and their Indian rulers," spokesman said.
He said that New Delhi has given clear instructions to puppet government to choke the ongoing freedom struggle and for that purpose it is denying freedom of expression to Kashmiris.
Spokesman slammed Puppet Chief Minister for inventing "Battle of Ideas slogan" and said that it has failed to even give basic rights to oppressed people.
He hailed the efforts of former AJK President for organizing Kashmir million march and said such diplomatic efforts on international level will bear fruits.Click Here To Follow Our WhatsApp Channel
Meanwhile spokesman quoting Zaffer Akbar Bhat, who is under house detention from last over two weeks has once again appealed Kashmiris to observe a complete shutdown tomorrow on Tuesday (27th October)- the day when Indian troopers landed in Srinagar and occupied Jammu and Kashmir illegally. He said that since 27 October 1947, forces have killed lakhs of Kashmiris and the oppression and suppression is going on unabated. He asked United Nations to use its influence and help in the peaceful resolution of Kashmir dispute according to wishes of native Kashmiris.
Zafar has expressed serious concern over the ‘arms worship’ rallies in Jammu by Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh (RSS), saying that the GOI and their state puppet Govt. had give a free hand to the communal forces in the territory.
He said that actually the communal elements wanted to change the majority status of Muslims into minority in the territory and for the purpose thee were utilizing all cheap means. He deplored that in 1947 the communal elements had massacred Muslims.
