Srinagar, Jul 01 (KNS): A high level meeting of jammu and kashmir teachers forum was held at its central office DIET BEMINA under the chair of President EJAC, Chairman JKTF Ab. Qayoom Wani.
The meeting was attended by all state, provincial leaders, district presidents and zonal presidents of Teachers Forum. The main agenda of the meeting was implementation of seventh pay commission in favour of SSA teachers, head teachers and RMSA masters, delinking of their Salaries from MHRD to state sector, maintaining of discipline in the organization and alarming flood situation in the valley.
All the participants present in the meeting Put forth their valuable suggestions regarding the agenda of the meeting. The leaders and representatives of JKTF appealed worthy chairman to frame a strategy for the resolution of these pending issues.
President EJAC, chairman JKTF Ab Qayoom Wani while addressing the gathering assured that Teachers Forum will leave no stone unturned to solve these issues at an earliest.
Wani said that Governor Administration especially worthy Advisors to the Governor, worthy Chief Secretary of state, worthy Commissioner Sect Finance, worthy Sec, School Education and all higher ups of Edu Deptt. are seriously Looking into the matter and have shown positive approach in resolving the issue, but the process of resolving the matter is very slow which creates chaos and confusion among the teaching fraternity.
Teachers Forum has decided to react the slow process of resolving these human issues. SSA teachers, head teachers and RMSA masters are in dilemma as they have not been paid their salaries according to 7th pay comm. Teachers forum has waited on the assurances of ex. Govt and present Governors rule only to solve the issues amicably.
SSA teachers and head teachers were assured that Teachers forum will not remain silent and neither will stop its struggle for immidiate redressel of ligitimate demands of teaching community as already agreed in principle by the Govt.
Wani said that employees joint action committee and TJAC have taken a serious note of the matter and meeting in this regard have been announced by both the factions of the employees and final strategy will chalked out for future course of action and will be announced in coming days.Click Here To Follow Our WhatsApp Channel
He directed all the leaders from state to zonal level and delegates of teachers forum to be ready and gear up their cadres for future course of action.
EJAC President urged upon the Govt to look into the sensitive matter and issue orders for implementation of 7th pay comm. to SSA teachers, head teachers, RMSA masters and linking of their salaries with state sector otherwise JKTF will have no option other than to announce state wide agitation and the whole responsibility shall lie on the Govt.
Abdul Qayom Wani warned that indiscipline in the organization can never be tolerated on the cost of honor and dignity of the organization. Any person or leader from state level to zonal level who tries to cross the limits and bindings of the organization and tries to violate the constitution of JKTF will have to face the brunt and will not be tolerated even for a second.
A committee in this regard was framed on spot which will monitor all activities of the members especially on social media, what's App, Facebook, twitter, instragram and other means.
Wani while taking serious note of previous practices ordered to close all whats groups on the name of JKTF and instructed that new what’s App groups should be framed from Zonal level to state level after proper permission of the committee.
He said that JKTF not only represents the aspirations and rights of teaching fraternity but has a history that we have always felt the pain and sufferings of common people and as sons of the soil will continue to do so.
Chairman Teachers Forum said that there are apprehensions of flood in the valley and directed all the cadres of JKTF to be ready to face any kind of untoward situation due to floods so that we could help our people in such situations.
The leaders of Teachers forum Mohd Akbar Khan, Harpal Singh pali, Mohd Ishaq Ganai,Mohd Afzal Bhat, Pir Nisar Ahmad, Mohd Ashraf Wani, Mohd Akbar Dar, Manzoor Ahmad, Showkat Ali Beig, Pirzada sharifudin, Mohd Amin Khan, Mohd Shafi Rather, Ahmadullah Wani, Nazir Ahmad sheikh, Mohd Ashraf Wani, and all Zonal Presidents attended the meeting.
