Srinagar, Jun 30 (KNS): The Executive council of SKIMS faculty forum Thursday convene on emergency meeting to discuss the issue of some faculty members of SKIMS approaching the Government and media with their personal views regarding certain sensitive matters pertaining to SKIMS administration.
In a statement issued to KNS, the members said that in this context the SKIMS faculty forum an elected body of SKIMS Faculty would like to request the Government and media not to entertain views of individual faculty members pretending falsely to be representatives of SK{MS faculty
The SKIMS faculty forum further reiterated that it appreciates the efforts of Government of Jammu & Kashmir for conducting the interviews to the post of Director, SKIMS which fell vacant after the superannuation of the previous Director SKIMS on June 3d 2016.Click Here To Follow Our WhatsApp ChannelIt requests the Government of Jamrnu and Kashmir to expedite the process of appointment to the post of Director SKIMS.
The SKIMS Faculty Forum ensures full co-operation and support to the selected Director.
The Forum further made an observation that one non-resident faculty member who spends most of his time out of the Country is trying to influence the Government of Jammu & Kashmir and media in the selection of Director SKIMS so that he continues to enjoy his illegitimate perks and privileges that he is used to.
