Six injured after attacked by stray dogs in Langate locality

Langate, Dec 17 (KNS): At least six persons were injured after being attacked by stray dogs in Sudergund village of Langate in Kupwara district on Friday, creating panic in the area. 

Witnesses told Kashmir News Service (KNS) that some stray dogs on prowl in the area attacked the passersby.

They said that at least six persons were injured in the incident. They alleged that none of the government functionary visited the village to neutralise these stray dogs.

Residents said that the population of dogs is increasing in the village and authorities are not concerned about the issue and are acting as mute spectators. (KNS)
