Srinagar, Jun 15 (KNS): Congress leader Kadfeen Choudhary on Monday said the coming generations in the state shall see Shujaat Bukhari as an epitome of courage and selflessness who lived and died as a fearless and objective journalist.

In a statement issued to KNS, Kadfeen said that last year on June 14 Kashmir lost a personality with a remarkable spirit and the death of a scholar is a death of the society.

He added that late Bukhari led a dynamic and active life and never bartered his principles for any materialistic gains.Click Here To Follow Our WhatsApp Channel“His name will be written in the pages of history along with those great seers and scholars who showed the people the path of tranquility, brotherhood, and love. He died for the people of Kashmir and for their well being. He had a sole motive of ensuring a peaceful and dignified tomorrow for the state’s present and coming generations,” Kadfeen said. (KNS)
