Amid dearth of doctors, the doctors are being forced to work in the twin hospitals, thus causing hardships to the patients.

The locals said one of gynecologist posted at Pattan has also been tasked to join duties at DH Baramulla for few days in a week.

They appealed the authorities to look into the matter and fulfill their demands.

Meanwhile, Director Health Services Kashmir, Dr. Kunzes Dolma told Kashmir News Service (KNS) that the doctors will be posted to the hospitals soon after the culmination of Model Code of Conduct (MCC).

She said that there was shortage of doctors at Medical Colleges as well and the doctors will be deputed after MCC. (KNS)
