Srinagar, Apr 02 (KNS): Shopkeepers in north Kashmir’s Baramulla district have taken undue advantage of the situation and have resorted to looting consumers.
According to Kashmir News (KNS), several shopkeepers in Baramullah areas are selling essential commodities on exorbitant rates. Reports said that only two shopkeepers have been taken into task but others have been left who are continously over pricing goods.
Deputy Director Food and Supplies J&K Mohammad Akbar while talking to KNS said no body will be spared unpunished if found guilty.Click Here To Follow Our WhatsApp Channel
"Those who are involved in over pricing of goods will be dealt as per law", he said.
He added department under the supervision of DC Baramulla will soon distribute ration and other essential items to needy persons in wake of Covid-19 outbreak. He also said that LPG supply will also be ensured to the door steps in coming days. (KNS)
