Shopian, Mar 10 (KNS): District Magistrate, Sachin Kumar Vaishya along with SSP Shopian, Amrit Paul Singh on Thursday visited Zainapora Shopian where Rojana temple was gutted in a fire mishap.
An official told Kashmir News Service (KNS) said that district magistrate ordered an inquiry into the incident to establish the cause of the fire.
“Forensic team has also collected the samples of the gutted temple and police is investigating the cause of fire and lodged FIR in this regard.”
He said that district magistrate ordered Magisterial inquiry into the incident to establish the cause of the fire.
The official said that those found guilty shall not be spared and will be brought to book.
Meanwhile, DM directed Sub-Divisional Magistrate (SDM) Zainapora for immediate restoration of the temple. (KNS)
