Dr Farooq expresses condolences with Mir, Kawoosa, Samnani Families

Srinagar, 17 Sept (KNS) : The Jammu and Kashmir National Conference President Dr Farooq Abdullah has expressed deep shock and grief over the passing away of Khalid Habib Mir (IAS), former Commissioner, State Election Commission, a resident of Batamaloo and presently residing in Fairview Colony, Rawalpora.

Dr Farooq Abdullah visited the bereaved family at their residence today, offered his condolences and expressed solidarity with the members of the family in their hour of grief. He also offered Fateha and prayed for the eternal peace and salvation of the deceased. He paid tribute to the valuable services rendered by the late Khalid Habib Mir and prayed for his place in Jannat-ul-Firdous.

Dr Farooq also visited Ishber Nishat and called on the family of Rauf Ahmad Kawoosa, son of Haji Ghulam Qadir Kawoosa, to express his condolences and offer solace to the bereaved family.Click Here To Follow Our WhatsApp ChannelHe prayed for the eternal peace and elevation of the deceased and conveyed his condolences to the next of kin, particularly Naseer Ahmad Kawoosa, Bilal Ahmad Kawoosa, Imtiyaz Ahmad Kawoosa and other family members.

Meanwhile, Dr Farooq Abdullah also expressed deep shock and grief over the demise of noted journalist and writer Syed Bashir Ahmad Samnani, Chief Editor of Morning Times, a resident of Kulgam and presently residing in Rawalpora. He offered Fateha, prayed for the eternal peace of the deceased and paid tribute to his valuable contributions to journalism and writing.

Party General Secretary Haji Ali Mohammad Sagar, Chief Spokesperson and MLA Zadibal Tanvir Sadiq, Provincial President Advocate Showkat Ahmad Mir, and MLA Chanapora Mushtaq Guroo also expressed their condolences and solidarity with the bereaved families.(KNS)
