Shopian Police registers 50 FIRs, arrests 89 persons, seizes 545 vehicles for violating Corona curfew 

Shopian, May 26 (KNS): Shopian Police during cracked down on corona curfew violators arrested 89 persons, registered 50 FIRs, seized 545 vehicles and recovered Rs 275,000 fine besides 11 sealed 11 shops.
According to the Kashmir news service (KNS), Shopian Police ensured strict lockdown by erecting barbed wires, augmenting deployments inside the district and other roads leading to Shopian to reduce the spread of coronavirus in the area.
 Police sources told KNS that during the corona curfew in the last month, action was taken against several people at various checkpoints and central bazaar.
Since the curfew and lockdown began, 50 FIRs have been registered and 89 persons have been arrested for violating the Corona Curfew, while 545 vehicles have been confiscated and several others have been arrested. 
Police also realised a fine of  Rs 275,000 for violating the Corona curfew.
