Free bus facility should also be provided to students and elderly: Sahni
Jammu 04 (KNS):: Shiv Sena (UBT) Jammu and Kashmir unit has demanded e-bus facility in the main religious places of Jammu, Tirupati temple, Har Ki Pauri, Baba Jito Devasthan, Bave and areas across Tawi and free bus facility to students and elderly like women.
A delegation of state leaders headed by party state chief Manish Sahni today met the Commissioner of Jammu Municipal Corporation (JMC) and Chief Executive Officer of Jammu Smart City Dr. Devansh Yadav and submitted a memorandum regarding the above demands.
Sahni said that e-bus facility should be started in areas like Gandhi Nagar, Trikuta Nagar, Chhanni Himmat, Sainik Colony, Greater Kailash etc.Click Here To Follow Our WhatsApp Channelacross Tawi, including main religious places of Jammu like Bawe Wala Maa Kali Temple, Tirupati Balaji Temple, Har Ki Pauri, Baba Jio Devasthan.
He said that a demand has been made to extend the bus route of Shahidi Stambh near Baghe-e-Bahu Police Station upto Tirupati Temple via Bawe Wala Temple. Along with this, a demand was raised to provide free bus service to students and elders like women. Sahni made aware of the increasing complaints of not stopping buses for women and reduction in the number of buses during off school and peak hours, and also demanded to issue strict instructions for relief. Sahni said that Dr. Devansh Yadav has agreed to the above demands and is assured to provide relief soon.
