Ganderbal, Mar 16 (KNS): National Conference senior leader and former MLA Ganderbal Sheikh Ishfaq Jabbar has expressed deep shock and grief over the loss of lives in a tragic road accident that took place on Chanderkoot-Rajgarh road in Ramban district today.
In a statement issued to KNS, Sheikh Ishfaq expressed profound grief over the loss of lives in a tragic accident at Ramban and described the incident as very unfortunate, tragic and painful. I have no words to express my grief over the loss of precious lives, Ishfaq said.
He emphasized the State Govt to take effective measures to prevent such mishaps especially on Jammu Srinagar National highway besides initiating action against those violating traffic norms.
The former MLA extended heartfelt condolences to the families of those who died in the tragic accident and others who sustained injuries in this mishap.

Sheikh Ishfaq also strongly condemned the terror attack at two mosques in New Zealand, describing the attack as cowardly, mindless and barbaric.
He expressed shock and anguish over the fatal terror attack at two Mosques in Christchurch, New Zealand in which innocent lives were lost and many were injured. We stand in solidarity with the people of New Zealand, he said.
He said that killing of human beings in its any manifestation was against tenants of all religions. He said killing of innocent people, anywhere in the world, has no place in a civilized society.
He said non violence and patience are the best tools to bring peace in the trouble torn world where materialism has eaten vitals of humanity and humility. (KNS)
