Ganderbal April 03 (KNS): Senior Political Leader and Former MLA Ganderbal Sheikh Ishfaq Jabbar on Sunday reviewed arrangements for the forthcoming death anniversary of his father and great leader Shaheed Sheikh Abdul Jabbar.
Terming Shaheed Sheikh Jabbar as legend of his time senior political leader and his son Sheikh Ishfaq has said that the party will observe the death anniversary of the former minister and MLA here on April 30.
Addressing a meeting of party workers at Gulab Ganderbal, Ishfaq said that the party will observe the death anniversary of Shaheed Sheikh Abdul Jabbar at Qamariya Stadium Ganderbal, in a big way.
"The function was scheduled to be held on 18 April , but due to Ramdhan, it was postponed and now will be held on 30 April. We are expecting a large number of people that day,” said the leader.
Meanwhile, Sheikh Ishfaq constituted various committees for the programme of April 30, 2023, and stressed upon workers to pay tributes to Sheikh Jabbar. (KNS)
