Banihal, May 31(KNS): National Conference District President Ramban, Sajjad Shaheen on Wednesday expressed grave concern over erratic power supply in the entire district, especially Banihal Assembly Constituency during the ongoing holy month of Ramadhan, saying this speaks of the governance deficit of the PDP-BJP combine.
“Denial of basics is a common feature under the present dispensation but the people were at least expecting some respite during the current holy month”, Shaheen said in a statement issued to KNS.
He said that the people living in Khari, Trigam, Sumar, Harog, Chakka, Mahu Mangit, Pogal- Paristan, Ramsoo, Sarachi, Amkoot, Thachi, Hinjhal, Changloo, Chaknarwah, Chamalwas, Gagarnag ,Sarbagni,Chakka are hugely suffering from erratic utility services like power and drinking water especially during Sehri and Iftaar times.Click Here To Follow Our WhatsApp Channel
“There is shortage of essential commodities like Rice, Wheat, Kerosene Oil, LPG,Sugar etc in Banihal and its adjoining areas”, the District President said, adding that the PDP led coalition government has failed on all fronts.
He said the government that is not even able to cater the basic needs of people and it has no moral right to rule the state. (KNS)
