Srinagar, June 18 (KNS): Remembering the Shaheed-e-Ummat Dr Qazi Nisar on his 22nd anniversary, the incarcerated chairman of Democratic Freedom Party (DFP) Shabir Ahmad Shah on Saturday hailed his religious, social, and political contribution.
In a statement issued to KNS, Shah said Shaheed Qazi Nisar will always be remembered for the role he played towards creating political awareness among masses and for his social welfare. “He was an acknowledged religious scholar and a firebrand orator,” he said.
Highlighting his role in the resistance movement, Shah said Shaheed Qazi Nisar launched numerous campaigns among masses to aware them about their political rights.

Meanwhile on the directions of Shabir Ahmad Shah a deputation including Mohammad Ibrahim ,Mohammad Shafi and Bashir Ahmad visited Brath Kalan Sopore and Wusan Pattan and expressed condolence and sympathy with the families of Shaheed Altaf Ahmad Mir and Shaheed Imtiyaz Ahmad Lone .Shabir Ahmad Shah while talking to bereaved families on telephone said that we are indebted to these martyrs and are sure that their sacrifices won’t go waste. Paying his glorious tributes to Sopore martyrs Shabir Ahmad Shah pledged to carry their mission to its logical conclusion. (KNS)
