Chairman Democratic Freedom Party Shabir Ahmed Shah is under continuous house arrest and was not allowed to offer Eid prayers again, party spokesperson said on Saturday.
In a statement to KNS, party spokesperson while criticizing the house arrest of senior leader, said, “Authorities are using undemocratic and cruel tactics to curb the political activities of senior leaders.”

DFP spokesperson said, Shah has spent almost one year, eight months and twenty days under house arrest. He has been barred one hundred sixty two days of Friday prayers and Eight Eid prayers. (KNS)
