"It is amply clear that these forces have been given an open deal to play with the lives of people and if such unabated killings are not stopped, it will give rise to grave situation in the region," Shah said in a statement to KNS.
Terming the public protest during the encounter as justified, Shah said to shower bullets on peaceful and unarmed people is extremely condemnable. He expressed solidarity with those who were injured during the protests and prayed for their speedy recovery.

Expressing heartfelt grief and anguish over the attack on Bacha Khan University in Peshawar Pakistan in which students were killed, Shah said the attack proves the conspiracies continue to be hatched against the country by the elements who are hell bent upon destabilizing Pakistan. The way the innocent students were killed only proves the barbaric mindset of the attackers. The attack also makes it clear that some agencies deliberately want to push Pakistan to the chaos and uncertainty. We hope the Islamic Republic overcomes this threat of terrorism," he said and expressed solidarity and sympathy with Pakistan and the affected families besides praying for their patience.
The DFP Chairman also expressed concern over the continuous disappearance of Sirajuddin Farooqi who is the brother in law of Al-Umar Mujahedeen Chief, Mushtaq Ahmad Zargar."He was arrested in broad daylight. 24 years have passed since then and no one knows about his whereabouts. We can very well understand the pain and agony of such families. It is extremely unfortunate that human rights organizations are turning blind eye towards such situation in Jammu Kashmir," Shah said.
