DFP organizes Dua-e-Majlis at martyrs' graveyard, Islamabad
Srinagar, Jan 08 (KNS): Paying glowing tributes to Shaheed Sajad Ahmad Kanue on his 20th anniversary and other martyrs, the incarcerated Chairman of Democratic Freedom Party (DFP), Shabir Ahmad Shah said the remembrance of martyrs is aimed at rejuvenating ourselves vis-à-vis freedom movement and to reiterate our pledge to accomplish their mission.
In a statement to KNS on Friday, Shabir Ahmad Shah said that to keep our freedom movement intact, the remembrance of our beloved martyrs is obligatory for us. "This way, we can send this message to our future generation that the mission which we are pursuing was started by these brave martyrs through their sacred blood."
Praying in favor of all the martyrs, Shah said we will never forget the bloody massacres perpetrated by the Indian occupational forces in Kashmir.Click Here To Follow Our WhatsApp Channel"The best way to keep the freedom movement running is to express sincerity and loyalty with the martyrs and their mission."
Meanwhile, on the directions of party Chairman, Shabir Ahmad Shah, the DFP Islamabad organized a Dua e Maslis (prayer meeting) at Mazar e Shuhada (martyrs' graveyard) where rich tributes were paid to Shaheed Sajad Ahmad Kanue.
DFP Islamabad President, Advocate Fayaz Ahmad Sodagar, Er Farooq Ahmad Khan, Manzoor Ahmad Ghazi, Mukhtar Ahmad Sofi and other party activists were also present on the occasion. (KNS)
