‘He will always remain alive in our hearts’

Srinagar, July 9 (KNS): Expressing grief over the martyrdom of commander of Hizb-ul-Mujahideen, Burhan Muzaffar Wani and his two associates, Sartaj Ahmad and Parvez Ahmad, the incarcerated chairman of Democratic Freedom Party (DFP) Shabir Ahmad Shah on Saturday appealed people to participate in the funeral prayers in absentia for the martyrs.
In a statement issued to KNS, Shah said, “Burhan Wani will always remain alive in our hearts. He is a role model for our youth. In his brief lifespan, he rendered immense contribution to the ongoing freedom struggle. He would be an inspiration for generations to come.”
Shah said people’s participation in funeral prayers of these martyrs is a referendum and an eye-opener for world. He condemned the imposing of curfew across valley and arrests by the puppet administration saying such repressive measures won’t be able to suppress our pro-freedom sentiments.Click Here To Follow Our WhatsApp Channel

He appealed people of all regions of the state including Pir Panchal, Chenab Valley, and Doda to offer the funeral prayers in absentia for the martyrs.
Meanwhile, expressing grief over the demise of the internationally acclaimed social activist and philanthropist of Pakistan Abdul Sattar Edhi, Shah said the example set up by the deceased is hard to find anywhere in the world. “Late Abdul Sattar Edhi dedicated his life for the welfare of poor and downtrodden,” he said and paid rich tributes to him.
