Srinagar, Feb 14 (KNS): The incarcerated chairman of Shabir Ahmad Shah on Tuesday expressed deep grief over suicide attack in Lahore in which 13 people were killed and 85 injured saying we our thoughts and prayers are with the nation of Pakistan.
In a statement issued to KNS, Shah said the heart-wrenching incident has once again proved that the country continues to be worst target of terrorism. “The anti-Pakistan elements are hell bent on destabilising the country and are continuously hatching conspiracies against it,” he said.
“The nation of Pakistan must exhibit patience and counter the nefarious designs of forces inimical to peace, prosperity, and progress,” he said.
The DFP chairman also paid tributes to Lashkar Commander Abu Musa who achieved martyrdom in an encounter with Indian forces in Bandipora.Click Here To Follow Our WhatsApp ChannelHe said the sacrifices of martyrs will be written in golden words in the history of Jammu Kashmir.
Meanwhile, a DFP spokesperson strongly condemned the arrest spree during nocturnal raids across the nook and corner of the valley saying youth are pushed to the wall. “Police has unleashed a reign of terror among masses and are committing inhuman acts by vandalising residential properties,” he said.
He said police also raided the house of Freedom Party’s Er Farooq Ahmad Khan and vadalised the property. He warned of serious repercussion if such acts are not stopped immediately. (KNS)
