Srinagar, Dec 31 (KNS): Strongly condemning the re-arrest of the incarcerated Chairman of Muslim League, Masarat Alam Bhat, the Democratic Freedom Party (DFP) Chairman, Shabir Ahmad Shah on Thursday said this clearly implies that there is no such thing as law in the state.
"The the courts quashing his PSAs time and again, Masarat Alam is continuously booked under the draconian law which makes it clear that there is no rule of law prevailing in J&K," Shah said in a statement to KNS.
Shah said the justice loving parties of the world should take cognizance of how justice is trampled in the state of Jammu and Kashmir and how its people are craving for getting justice.
He said the Masarat Alam's re-arrest is nothing but a political vengeance carried out only to please the masters of a New Delhi.

The DFP Chairman while terming the charges against a youth Irfan Ahmad of Islamabad by police as baseless and fabricated said the state police is targeting the innocent youth at the behest of their masters."Every youth of the valley is pro-freedom and they don't need anyone's suggestion to express their political ideology. Police is bent to ruin the career of these youth. Whatever, we will continue to raise our voice against the illegal occupation of our state," he said.
Shah also condemned the charges levied on Dukhtaran-e-Milat Chief, Syeda Aasiya Andrabi, warning the administration of stiff resistance if any untoward happened with her.
Shabir Ahmad Shah while paying glowing tributes to those martyred in Pulwama reiterated his pledge that no one will be allowed to play with their sacred blood. He also prayed in favor of martyrs. (KNS)
