Srinagar, Feb 20 (KNS): Strongly condemning the attack on Moulana Ghulam Rasool Hami by some miscreants, the incarcerated Chairman of Democratic Freedom Party (DFP), Shabir Ahmad Shah on Saturday termed it "intolerable".
In a statement to KNS, Shah said the hooliganism and highhandedness by elements promoting alcohol and the attack on that honourable personality who wants to put an end to such filthy thing, cannot be tolerated in any way.Click Here To Follow Our WhatsApp Channel"I want to make it clear that while we are struggling for political rights in the State, we want to free the 'Valley of Saints' from things like alcohol," he said.
Terming the campaign against alcoholism as justified, Shah extended full support to it and warned the elements promoting this "evil" to refrain from resorting to cheap tactics of attacking the respectable personalities and destroying our youths. (KNS)
