Shah chairs Hurriyat (G) executive body’s meet

Sought opinions, observations from all constituent members

Srinagar, Jan 09 (KNS): A meeting of executive body of Hurriyat (G) chaired by its General Secretary Shabir Ahmad Shah, was convened at Sanat Nagar, which was attended by leaders or representative of the constituents. The participants took a stock of events during recent people’s uprising.
According to a statement issued to KNS, hailing sacrifices by the people, all participants expressed their sympathy and concern for those martyred, maimed and blinded by state forces and police. Unanimously condemning the curbs and restriction by state administration, the leaders said that it is highly deplorable that Hurriyat Conference (G) constituents are not allowed to meet their chairman Syed Ali Geelani and said that such deceptive tactics of administration won’t deter us from pursuing the cherished mission.
Shabir Ahmad Shah sought opinions and observations from all constituent members and it was decided that meeting will continue on January 10 as well. The leaders that participated in meeting include, Haji Gh Nabi Sumji, Nayem Ahmad Khan, Mohd Shafi Rishi, Gh Ahmad Gulzar, Mohammad Yousef Naqash, Raja Meraj u Din, Mohammad Yassin Ataie, Zamrooda Habib, Yasmeen Raja, Molvi Bashir Ahmad, Bilal Sidiqee, Mohammad Yusuf Nadeem, Gh Mohammad Nagoo, Mohammad Shafi Lone, Devider Singh, Mohammad Ramzan Khan, Syed Mohammad Shafi, and Hakeem Ab Rashid.Click Here To Follow Our WhatsApp Channel
Meanwhile, strongly condemning slapping of PSA on Tanveer Ahmad, a handicapped youth from Baramulla, Hurriyat (G) said that this is height of shame and disgrace of the so-called of highly qualified bureaucratic stooges of the collaborators, who blindly follow their dictates to put a big question mark on their “education”.
Hurriyat said that it is ironical that district magistrate has accused the person, with an amputated leg using his tricycle to disrupt “peace”. One can only laugh and feel pity on the mental acumen and intellect of these white-collar officials of the state administration.
Detaining a handicapped person who can’t even walk without the support of crutches, is a glorious example of the Indian democracy and the soothing out course of the unholy nexus. Upholding such “glorious ethos” Hurriyat said that such brazen and shameful acts can no longer lease the traitors and their deceitful veil loses its sheen with each passing day. (KNS)
