Srinagar, Mar 06 (KNS): Democratic Freedom Party (DFP) Shabir Ahmad Shah was on Monday once again placed under house arrest. A large contingent of police force early morning laid a siege outside Freedom House and ordered house arrest.
A party spokesperson while condemning Shah’s house arrest said the pro-freedom leader was few days ago released after more than three years following which he thronged Tral to address people and visit families of martyrs but was arrested by police near Jamia Masjid of the area.
Slamming the ruling PDP, the spokesperson said the party is considering Jammu Kashmir as its property and has reserved all rights to itself. He said in the garb of farcical slogans like ‘battle of ideas’, the state is converted into the Abu Gharib jail while suggesting the party to learn lessons from history as to how even the super powers of the time perished.
Meanwhile, Shabir Ahmad Shah while paying glorious tributes to martyrs of Huffu, Tral said the best way to pay homage to mujahedeen is to remain sincere with the mission for which they laid down their lives. He also paid tribute to the martyred guest mujahid.
