Srinagar, Dec 28 (KNS): Senior resistance leader and chairman of Democratic Freedom Party (DFP) Shabir Ahmad Shah was on Wednesday released after six months of incarceration.
He was arrested on July 13 and lodged in police station Raj Bagh.
As per a statement issued to KNS, a party spokesperson said Shah was released on Wednesday afternoon and placed under house arrest.Click Here To Follow Our WhatsApp Channel
He said since Shah was released in 2011, he was kept either under house arrest or in police detention for a period of 39 months and 27 days which include 227 Friday and 12 Eid prayers. (KNS)
