Srinagar May 9 (KNS): The Jammu and Kashmir Pradesh Congress Committee (JKPCC) President G.A. Mir today greeted people on the observance of the auspicious night of Shab e Qader “a night of destiny”.
In his message, JKPCC President G.A. Mir has said that Shab e Qader (Laitul Qader) is a very significant and sacred night in the Islamic Calendar, which marks the revelation of the holy book Quran on Prophet Muhammad (SAW) during this night.

Lailatul Qadr is the greatest gift from Almighty Allah, in which the Muslim Ummah seek mercy and forgiveness of their sins and spent the whole night reading Quran and prayers to purify their souls, Mir said.
Extended greetings to people, G.A. Mir hoped that the auspicious night will be the harbinger of the wellbeing of the entire mankind, ushering in an era of peace and prosperity.
On this occasion, G.A. Mir expressed anguish over the current horrendous situation arisen due to the spread of the Pandemic in the country and loss of thousands of precious lives and appealed the people to adhere to the SOPs strictly as the fatal virus has engulfed almost the entire country, posing a serious threat to precious lives of people.
