Anantnag, Apr 1 (KNS): Shab-e-Douam was observed on Wednesday at the revered Sakhi Zainuddin Wali Shrine in Aishmuqam, with devotees thronging the shrine to offer prayers.
The observance marks part of the annual religious events at the shrine, drawing large gatherings from across the region.
Chairperson of Jammu and Kashmir Waqf Board Darakshan Andrabi is scheduled to attend the festival.
Administrator Waqf Board Aishmuqam, Moulana Ashaq Ashrafi, said all necessary arrangements have been put in place to ensure smooth conduct of the events.
Officials said security and logistical measures have also been arranged to facilitate the devotees during the festival.(KNS)
