Srinagar, Feb 22 (KNS): As the weather conditions improved across the state, the Srinagar-Jammu highway continued to remain closed for vehicular movement for third consecutive day on Friday.
The highway was closed due to fresh snowfall and landslides at some place, officials said.
The landslides that occured on Thursday evening has led to the death of two persons while another sustained injuries after landlides hit them when they were travelling in Poonch.Click Here To Follow Our WhatsApp Channel
Officials said that fresh snowfall and landslides are still going on at some places, therefore the road has remained closed for today as well.
They said the highway will remain closed till the landslide debris and accumulated snow is cleared. (KNS)
