Srinagar, Nov 21 (KNS): Daily wagers of State Forest Research Institute (SFRI) division Tangmarg on Monday expressed resentment against authorities for ‘failing to regularize them from past ten years’.
The daily wagers also said that the department has withheld their salaries from past ten months. They demanded immediate release of their wages.
According to KNS correspondent, the daily wagers said that they have served the department honestly from past ten years but unfortunately the department has miserably failed to regularize them.
They said that they are unable to meet the family expenses due to the meagre amount provided by department as their wages.Click Here To Follow Our WhatsApp Channel
However, they added that their salaries are withheld from past ten months thereby leaving them to face tremendous hardships.
Zahoor Ahmad, one of the daily wagers said, “With the current uprising in the Valley, we are already facing immense hardships and the department is adding more hardships by withholding our salaries from past ten months.”
Meanwhile, the aggrieved daily wagers appealed higher authorities to look into the matter and regularize them and release their wages at earliest. (KNS)
