Several Kashmiri bread sellers establish shops in Jammu in winters

Srinagar, Nov 10 (KNS): Amid severe cold, several Kashmiri bread sellers have moved to Jammu where they establish Kashmiri bread making shops.

The Kashmiri bread sellers in this regard have established their shops to provide Kashmiri roti to them. The bread sellers prepare krip, kulcha, lawasa, bagerkhwani etc which is being bought by local Kashmiris.

The bread sellers have established their shops at Khati Kan Talab, Ustad Mohalla, Janipur, Sidhra, Gujjar Nagar, Bhatindi and New Plot areas where majority of Kashmiri's prefer to stay during winters.

A bread seller from Kulgam said he visits Jammu from last 40 years and  make several varieties of Kashmiri roti. He however said during last few years the business has witnessed huge decline.

Notably thousands of families from Kashmir visit Jammu during winters to safeguard themselves from harsh weather.(KNS)
