Srinagar, Jan 7 (KNS): Senior political leaders have expressed profound grief over the death of chief minister Mufti Mohammad Sayeed, who passed away at AIIMS today morning after two-week illness.
Chairman Democratic Party Nationalist, Chairman Peoples Democratic Front, CPI (M) State Secretary M Y Tarigami and PDF general Secretary Abdul Qayoom expressed great loss over Mufti’s death.

The leaders told KNS that Mufti Sayeed was a visionary political leader who always worked for the welfare of the state and its people.
They said that his political void cannot be fulfilled by any politician.
