National Executive member, ST Morcha, BJP, Eshfaq-ur-Rehman Poswal has requested the Prime Minister, Narender Modi to send a high level team to the border areas of J&K to assess the losses before holding the NSA level talks with Pakistan.
In a letter written to the Prime Minister, Poswal said that due cease fire violations by Pak, the border residents, especially in Rajori-Poonch belt have suffered huge losses. He said apart from property, people have also lost their lives. He said that team must assess losses, and the same should be highlighted in the NSA level talks with Pakistan.Click Here To Follow Our WhatsApp ChannelMeanwhile, Poswal also welcomed the initiative of the state government to put the separatist leaders under house arrest.
“These leaders are responsible for killings of youth besides misguiding them and pushing them towards militancy”, Poswal said. He said, “During the NSA level talks, Pak must be told in strong terms about the consequences it will have to face if continues to engage in ceasefire violations”. He also demanded from the government to provide safe shelter to the border people till shelling stops. (KNS)
