Jammu, Jan 01 (KNS): Senior NC leader and MLA Mian Altaf Ahmed Condemned the police and administration action against Muslims at Niki Tawi in Belicharana Area of Jammu city on the name of Anti encroachment drive.
In a statement to KNS, Altaf said that Govt. running against anti-enrolment drive on communal basis instead of merit bases. Since the govt. formation Coalition Govt. is harassing Muslims in Jammu on the name of retrieve of forest land from illegal occupation.
Govt. is running selective drive against Muslims who were being forcefully evicted from their lands and homes as a well planned strategy. Mian ALtaf who is also Ex-Forest minister condemned the police action against Muslims in Belicharana area and questioned that if Govt. is sincere to retrieve the forest land then why first action not is taken against the persons who are the part of govt.
On the name of anti-encroachment land drive Selective and anti Muslims approach could not be acceptable at any cost. According to reports police and revenue team also broke the windowpanes of the houses and beat them when they objected.
The officials and police burnt a house rendering the family homeless. The family members with their children have come on road and may have to spend night under open-sky. (KNS)
