Baramulla, June 10 (KNS): A joint security coordination and pre-Yatra preparation meeting was held at District Police Lines (DPL) Baramulla to review arrangements for the upcoming Amarnath Yatra.
The meeting was convened by Deputy Inspector General (DIG) of North Kashmir Range (NKR), Maqsood-ul-Zaman (IPS), and co-chaired by DIG North Kashmir Operations Range (NKOR) CRPF, R.S. Rawat.
Senior Superintendents of Police (SSsP) and Commanding Officers (COs) of CRPF from across North Kashmir participated in the meeting.Click Here To Follow Our WhatsApp ChannelThe officers discussed measures to strengthen the security grid and ensure smooth and safe conduct of the Yatra.
The meeting focused on enhancing coordination between police and paramilitary forces, route security, and deployment strategies in vulnerable areas.
Officials emphasized maintaining high alertness and close synergy among all agencies to provide a secure environment for the pilgrims.(KNS)
